Ideal Weather For LIModmaniac 200

No one could have asked for better weather, as the heat wave broke in time for this weekend's events at the track. While the LIModmaniac 200 WMT race was the featured event on the card, the 2 best races of the evening were the Chargers and Blunderbust events. Chris Turbush won a very hard fought battle to take the Chargere victory, and Ron Langdon, after setting a new track record with a 14.987 time trial lap, led the whole event, with all the top runners battling behind him to the finish.
George Brunnhoelzl III set the fast time in Modified time trials with a lap of 11.814, but Rowan Pennink won the race after taking the lead well past the halfway point in the caution filled event.

More on all of this tomorrow, along with LaFilms videos of the nights events, plus some great pictures by Mike Mercurio. Check back with us then.
