Unusual Night of Racing Produces 3 Winners in 4 Races
Timmy Solomito bested all others in the Legends race tonight, while Chris Turbush out lasted 18 others to take the victory in the Chargers. In a time shortened 18 minute Figure-8 race, Kenny Hyde was declared the winner after Roger Maynor was sent to the rear ERRONEOUSLY for jumping the start in a race where he was the leader! Finally, Timmy Solomito, after a video review of the events during the last lap and a half of the Modified race, was declared the winner of that event after it was decided that Chris Young spun into the infield coming off turn 4 to the checkers because of Young's own mistake.
Now that the precedent has been set for video review, using the tape from Verizon FiOS, let's hope future questionable calls will be subject to the same review process, in fairness to ALL.
