WATERFORD, CT (August 19, 2017): Kyle James is staring to heat up at the right time, when the checkered flag flew it was James sitting in victory lane in the jamming 107.7 sponsored #21. Eighteen SK Modifieds took to the grid for the 35-lap feature event. The first caution waved as a ten-car incident erupted between turns one and two. Most of the cars were done for the night, including the point leader, Keith Rocco. The restart of the event had James sitting on point and from there it was all James. With the win James now sits atop of the points battle. Rounding out the top-5 included Ted Christopher, Diego Monahan, Stephen Masse and last week’s winner Rob Janovic Jr. Heat wins went to Keith Rocco and Paul Buzel.

While Rocco was on cruise control out front it was Anthony Flannery carving his way to the front from his sixth starting spot. On a lap-11 restart Flannery hooked onto Rocco’s bumper and the two pulled away from the field.
