PERRY, NY (October 15, 2017) Wyoming County International Speedway management has decided to postpone day two of the Shootout at the Bullring Weekend due to pending weather.
“Due to the forecasted weather threat throughout the afternoon, we felt it was best for the drivers, crews, and fans that we postpone the event until next Saturday, October 21st” commented WCIS Owner/Promoter Jim Majchrzak. “Everyone that purchased the two-day passes is encouraged to keep their wristbands” Majchrzak added.
Pit gates will open at 9:00 am with racing scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm sharp. In competition will be the Tour-Type Modifieds for the third running of the American Racer 100, plus the Wyoming County International Speedway Super Stocks, the INEX Legends and the CAMS Modifieds.
The previous two events of the American Racer 100 have seen Bath, Pennsylvania’s Zane Zeiner, and Northampton, PA’s Matt Hirschman leave the Perry Bullring $10,000 richer.
Night one of the Shootout at the Bullring Weekend from Saturday night featured wins by Patrick Emerling (Jim Pierce Memorial SST Modified 100), Scott Adams (Sandra Vogler Memorial New York Super Stock Series 51), Jody London (4 cylinders) and Brian Hallett (6 cylinders).
