OSWEGO, NY (January 9, 2018) – For the third year in a row, Toyota has returned as the headlining sponsor of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Toyota Mod Classic 150 which is set to go green as part of the 62nd running of Budweiser International Classic Weekend at Oswego Speedway on Saturday, September 1.
The appearance of the Mod Squad this September will mark just the third time since 1999 that the series has appeared at Oswego, with Toyota onboard as a sponsor each season within that window. Once again in 2018, the popular 60-lap Bud Light ISMA Supernationals will run alongside the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour as part of Classic Saturday’s star studded program.
“Our team here at Oswego Speedway is very excited to welcome back Toyota as the headlining sponsor of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour 150 and thank them for their continued support of the event for the past three seasons,” said PR Director Camden Proud. “The added exposure this race received on a national level with NBC Sports last season coupled with the growing fan support continues to make the 150 one of the biggest shows of the season at Oswego.”
