Remember Our Veterans 40 Highlights New Egypt Speedway’s Memorial Day Weekend

New Egypt, NJ – Memorial Day weekend is upon us at New Egypt Speedway and we are back in action this coming Saturday night May 27th featuring the Remember Our Veterans 40 for the 358 Modifieds that will pay $2,750 to the winner and also serve as “The Dirty Dozen” Round of 12 for May Modified Madness. This race was originally scheduled to be double points as well as the finale for the May Madness Modified Series but Mother Nature had other plans and is no longer. The May Madness Finale, which will be run at a later date, will be a double points feature event. The Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars, Hammer Sportsman will both be in action as well for the first time since April 29th. The Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman will also be on the card with two features as well to make up for all of the rainouts. All active and retired Military Personnel will be admitted free to the grandstands this Saturday with ID.

Pit gates unlock at 3:00 p.m. with spectator turnstiles opening at 4:00 p.m. Hot laps get underway at 5:00 p.m. and the racing starts at 6:00 p.m. Admission to the grandstand is $22 for adults, $20 for seniors 65 and older, $12 for teens 12-15 and Kids 11 & under are FREE. Pit admission is $30 with a New Egypt Speedway license and $40 with no license.

Next week June 3rd the 358 Modifieds will again be the headliner with the “Slideways Six” round of May Modified Madness where the bracket will be narrowed from 12 down to six combatants, also on the card will be the Crate Modifieds and the Street Stocks as well as two features for the Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman.

Mother Nature Forces Sixth New Egypt Speedway Cancellation Of Season

New Egypt, NJ – For the sixth time in eight events thus far in 2017, Mother Nature has forced New Egypt Speedway management to cancel Saturday night racing.

Next week on Saturday night May 20th will kick off May Modified Madness with the Round of 24 when the 358 Modifieds are in action along with the Crate Modifieds, Street Stocks and Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman.

Pit gates unlock at 3:00 p.m. with spectator turnstiles opening at 4:00 p.m. Hot laps get underway at 5:00 p.m. and the racing starts at 6:00 p.m. Admission to the grandstand is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and older, $10 for teens 12-15, $10 for military personal and their spouses with ID, and Kids 11 & under are FREE. Pit admission is $30 with a New Egypt Speedway license and $40 with no license.

Sunday May 21st will be the first Mud Hop/Demolition Derby planned for 2017. Pit Gates will open at 10AM for Tech Inspection and early entries. Grandstands will open at 12PM with the first on track activity planned for 1PM. Pit Admission is $25 and Grandstand admission will be $15.

Then on Tuesday night May 23rd “The Greatest Show on Dirt” the World of Outlaw Craftsman Sprint Car Series invades New Egypt Speedway for their only Garden State Appearance of 2017. Pit Gates will open at 2PM on the 23rd, Tickets and Will Call open at 3:30PM, Grandstands at 4PM, Hot Laps will begin at 6:30 with Opening Ceremonies beginning at 7:30PM. A Wednesday night May 24th rain date has been added in case there is inclement weather. General Admission tickets are $30, reserved tickets are $35, teens 12-15 are $15, and children 11 and under are free. Pit admission is $40. Mud In The Pines Takes Over New Egypt Speedway Sunday May 21st

New Egypt, NJ – Mud In The Pines, the ever so popular Mud Hop that is held at the New Egypt Speedway will have their first event of 2017 on Sunday, May 22nd.

Nine different classes including ATV’s, Pro Stock, 2.5 Ton Outlaws, 4/6 Cylinder, Tractor Tire, Super Mod, Unlimited, Super Street and Street Stock.

A Demolition Derby will also be held during the day on the 21st. Demolition Derby rules are posted under the rules page of www.newegyptspeedway.net
