Rob Bader Jr. Teams Up With Okula Motorsports for the 2017 Season

Holtsville NY.

Last season, Rob Bader Jr of Holtsville decided to return to his roots and purchase a Blunderbust car. With the help of a few friends, he was able to find his way to victory lane for his 10th career win. It was his first victory since 2012.

This season Bader will again run a limited 5-7 race schedule, however he expects to be even more competitive. For 2017 Bader has teamed up with Wayne Okula from Okula Motorsports in effort to continue his winning ways.

“I’m excited to work with Wayne this year, I purchased Wayne’s car in 2007 when he took some time off.¬†We always stayed close, I needed to kind of get back over the hump after being away from racing a few years. I have some great people that are always there if I need them, but I needed someone a little more hands on. I asked Wayne if he would be interested and he was willing to help get us dialed in.

This off season we upgraded our motor, updated the transmission and other things that needed attention. I’m excited to get behind the wheel and see what we can do.

Wayne is revamping the look of the car completely and it’s looking amazing. I Want to thank Brian Brown, Frank Scimeca Ed Brown and Mike Ledeoux for their help whenever needed.

I’m hoping to find a few more marketing partners to run some more, but am still looking forward to running up front and having fun regardless.” Okula Motorsports offers general automotive repairs, fabrication services as well as racecar set ups. Other sponsors for Bader are FB Performance Transmissions and Roberts Express Fuel Oil.
