Visconti Looking For Turkey Derby SUCCESS

STATEN ISLAND NY ( November 16th 2019)- Joey “Blankets” Braun of Manorville NY has partnered with John & Marie Visconti of Visconti Motorsports to run the Legends portion of this years Turkey Derby XLVI at Wall Stadium Speedway.

Joey  Braun, 17, caught the eye of NASCAR K & N team owner John Visconti this past season at Riverhead Raceway and were highly impressed with his driving skills in the highly competitive INEX Legends division.

John Visconti then made the trip to The King of the Green race at Evergreen Speedway a few weeks ago specifically to observe Joey outside of his regular weekly INEX Legends track.
Joey did not disappoint as he led most of the race but was involved in a late race incident that relegated him to a 10th place finish.

The team led by Joey’s dad, Joseph, crew members Tommy Barton and Kyle Elwood look to take on the high banks of Wall Speedway this Thanksgiving weekend with a Visconti Motorsports #74 Legends car. The INEX Legends will compete in two features, a 30 lap feature on Saturday November 30th and a 40 lap feature on Sunday December 1st.

Visconti said , I see the value in young aggressive drivers that have the skills to advance into the bigger arenas such as the NASCAR K&N series ( ARCA Menards as of 2020). We now have two young wheelmen in our NASCAR cars in 2020 , Giovanni Bromante and Parker Retzlaff. Both talented drivers are only 16 years old and have plenty of talent to get the job done at any level of racing.

Giovanni is the 2019 Super Late Model Blizzard Champion and also comes from Long Island. Giovanni will race in the Snowball Derby on December 8th at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola Florida. Joey Braun should be a solid contender for this years Turkey Derby trophy against some of the best Legends drivers in the Northeast.

Wall Stadium Speedway will host the traditional Thanksgiving weekend Turkey Derby starting on Friday November 29th to Sunday December 1st. 803 Highway 34 South wall Township NJ 07719.
