Riverhead Raceway was finally able to get the season started with fans on August 1st . A full card of racing went off without a hitch with a good socially distanced crowd.
After consulting with the Town of Riverhead week two will look a bit different. Starting this Saturday night as many tracks have done in New York State, Riverhead Raceway will be racing without fans.
The good news is the season continues and you will be able to watch from the comfort of your home with live streaming via Speedsport. Here is the link to Saturday nights broadcast https://riverheadraceway.tv/.
I spoke to GM John Elwood this week and he told me they were working for the last few weeks putting together a PPV option in case they were required to run with out fans. This Saturday night will see the results of all that hard work.
For $25.00 you will be able to watch the entire night of racing from the last race track on Long Island. You can click on the link above and it will give you all the instructions for enjoying a night at Riverhead Raceway from your own home.
This week starting at 5:45 Riverhead will feature the Late Models with TT’s 40 lap feature, the Mini Stocks with TT’s and 30 lap feature plus the Modifieds, Crate Modifieds, INEX Legends, Super Pro Trucks and the evening will be capped off with a big 50 lap 8 Cylinder Enduro.
