Westbury NY -A few weeks back Terry messaged me and asked for a favor. He was looking forward to the 2021 season but also he was excited about something else, this season Terry will have a sponsors name on the car.
Terry has raced for many years at Chemung, Mahoning , Evergreen, and his home track Riverhead Raceway. Terry started at Riverhead in 2004 running Truck Enduros before switching to Blunderbusts then his current division, the Crate Modifieds in 2015.
He has had success at all the tracks he raced at but always did it out of his own pocket. This year Terry is happy to announce the Law Firm of Obrien and Obrien in Nesconset New York https://www.obrienandobrienlaw.com/ has come on board to sponsor Terry and his Crate Modified at Riverhead Raceway.
He would like to thank Daniel Obrien for helping with the expense of competing weekly at Riverhead Raceway. When it all comes out of your pocket it can be tough to get to the track every week and be competitive. Having a sponsor like Obrien and Obrien helps not only get to the track but to have a better chance to win.
Terry finished 12th in points in a shortened 2020 season but that was not reflective of how well he had run. He was in the wrong place a the wrong time a couple of times that cost him good finishes. On October 17th won his second career 25 lap feature on Mike Stefanik night. Terry has shown that he could run with the best in a very tough division.
This past Saturday at the first practice in preparation for the 2021 season Terry showed he has the speed to run up front. Ever session he gained speed and was in the top 4 all day against some very tough competition.
This coming Saturday Terry will again be hitting the track for the final practice week in preparation for opening night May 1st. Then next week he would love to get the season off on the right foot with a win in the 25 lap feature.
