Long Island’s last remaining race track is coming to FloRacing in 2022. Riverhead Raceway, a ¼-mile paved oval in Riverhead, New York, will have all of its NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series action streamed live on FloRacing this year.

Located just minutes from the luxurious Hamptons, Riverhead Raceway is the only NASCAR-sanctioned race track in the greater New York metropolitan area. It has been continuously operating since 1949. With a strong NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program and an impressive list of special events, fans will be entertained throughout the season on FloRacing.

“We are excited to join the FloRacing platform,” said John Ellwood, Riverhead Raceway’s General Manager. “We have worked very hard to tell the story of all the local racer’s dreams and accomplishments to a streaming audience. In 2022, I believe FloRacing’s platform will bring more awareness of production value to our racers and most importantly the fans.”

The addition of Riverhead Raceway to FloRacing’s live broadcast schedule continues to broaden NASCAR and FloRacing’s investment into grassroots racing.

“We’re thrilled to have Riverhead Raceway join the FloRacing platform and showcase its terrific competition to fans worldwide,” said Brandon Igdalsky, NASCAR managing director, touring series. “Riverhead Raceway embodies the spirit of NASCAR and is an excellent addition to the incredible weekly racing fans can enjoy on FloRacing.”

FloRacing’s first live broadcast from Riverhead Raceway will take place Saturday, May 7. All seven divisions will be in action with the NASCAR Modifieds running 50 laps to headline the evening. Riverhead Raceway is the only track to run the same type of Modifieds seen with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour as its weekly division.

The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will also visit Riverhead Raceway three times in 2022. The first visit comes on May 14 and can also be seen live on FloRacing.

Major events on the schedule include the three NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour events on May 14, June 25 and September 17, as well as the sixth-annual Islip 300 on November 12, all of which can be seen live on FloRacing.

Riverhead Raceway joins a growing list of NASCAR-sanctioned tracks that will be broadcast live on FloRacing this season. That list already includes Berlin Raceway, Hickory Motor Speedway, Florence Motor Speedway, South Boston Speedway, Langley Speedway, and Evergreen Speedway with more to be announced in the coming weeks.

FloRacing is also the home of the ARCA Menards Series (11 events), ARCA Menards Series East, ARCA Menards Series West, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and NASCAR Pinty’s Series.

Motorsports fans can subscribe to FloRacing for $150/year to enjoy over 2,000 live motorsports events in 2022. A FloRacing subscription also provides unlimited access to the entire FloSports network, which includes FloFootball, FloHockey, FloWrestling, FloBikes, FloGrappling and more.

FloSports is available by visiting https://www.floracing.com/signup or by downloading the FloSports app on iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, Amazon Fire and Chromecast.
