Press release for GW Promotional Group

On top of the high-speed, side-by-side racing on the track, GW Promotional Group will also offer a busy midway for race fans attending the Whitcomb 5 Series events in 2022. Beginning this weekend at Monadnock Speedway, on Sunday, May 1, fans will be able to take part in the kids zone, Sandri Energy/Sunoco autograph session, purchase a race day program, win prizes as part of a giveaway and much more.

The GW Promotional Group Autograph Book will debut for the 2022 season at Monadnock. For this year, there are 19 different drivers in the book who plan on running the Whitcomb 5 Series. These will be sold for $5 each at the GW Promotional Group tent on the midway and can be used for the entire season. There will be a contest involved for anyone who wishes to enter.  Anyone with a full book of signatures can enter into a drawing that will happen at the championship race at Monadnock in September. The winner of the drawing will earn a $100 gift certificate to the GW Promotional Group apparel tent. For 2022, the autograph area is sponsored by Sandri Energy/Sunoco.

The GW Promotional Group Whitcomb 5 Series programs are also going to be available for sale for $3 each at the tent this weekend. They will have tons of information on the Whitcomb 5 Series including race format, news, event schedules and more. The book also includes ads from various companies throughout the New England region. Anyone looking to purchase ad space prior to the next event can do so by emailing jessica@gwpromotional.com.

The National Anthem contest GW Promotional Group has been running, titled The Final Anthem, has been a major success. The first singer in the contest will perform the National Anthem at Monadnock on Sunday –  Shauna Belletete. She will also be performing at the upcoming event at Claremont Motorsports Park on Friday, June 17. The contest includes Shuana – and another singer, Stephanie Thurston – each singing at two of the races. Before the season-finale, fans will be able to vote on who they think should sing at the championship event between the two. There will also be an award for the winner including a trophy.

There will also be various random giveaways during the race day at Monadnock. Winners will be chosen every half hour and notified by text message. Prizes for the giveaways will include free bowling passes to the French King Bowling Center in Erving, Massachusetts, two pack passes for three free races to Pioneer Valley Indoor Go Karting, in West Hatfield, a two-pack of tickets to the North East Motorsports Museum as well as a $50 and 2 $25 gift certificates to the GW Promotional Group tent.

Certainly the largest giveaway of the race day at Monadnock will be the Charlotte Motor Speedway NASCAR raffle. The lucky winner will earn 4 VIP NASCAR Cup Series Garage Passes for the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 29. This giveaway will also include 4 passes to the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a simulator day pass included. No purchase is necessary for either of these giveaways, just drop by the GW Promotional tent and enter for your chance to win.

At the track on race day, there will also be an on-site podcast – including some of the guests from the weekend, drivers and event promoters. The on-site podcast for 2022 is sponsored by Truly Hard Seltzer – and as part of the show – there will be free apparel and drink coolers provided to random race fans, courtesy of Truly.

The Kids Zone will have a coloring setup for children. There will be a coloring contest again for 2022 – with different age groups (3-5, 6-9, 10-13, 14-16) competing against others that are their age. Prizes will include $5 gift certificates usable at either the GW Promotional Group apparel tent or Kona Ice, as well as free passes to the French King Bowling Alley. As part of the Kids Zone, there will also be games to play like Yardzee, Yard Jenga, Limbo, a ring toss and cornhole. It should be the perfect place for young race fans to enjoy their experience at the track, while they take a break from the racing.

The Whitcomb 5 Series begins at Monadnock Speedway on Sunday, May 1, with a 125-lap race worth $5,000 to win. The Whitcomb Classic will present the season-opener for the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series NHSTRA Modifieds at the New Hampshire oval. Race day begins with practice rounds just after noon and qualifying to follow. The 125-lap feature should take the green flag around 4:45 p.m.
