WESTMINSTER, Mass. – With two Tour-Type Modified wins at his home track in the last few years, Sam Rameau is filled with confidence heading back to Monadnock Speedway this Saturday night. Rameau will drive the No. 06 Central Mass Tree Modified in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Duel at the Dog 200, live on FloRacing.TV at 8:30 p.m. on Saturday night, June 18.

Rameau – ready to make his second NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour start of the season – was the 2019 Sunoco Rookie of the Year on the Tour. In his only Tour start at the track, in 2020, Rameau finished eighth. This time, he’s hoping to improve on that and contend for the win in the Duel at the Dog 200.

“Monadnock is one of my favorite tracks,” Rameau said. “Not only is it home for us, but it’s a really demanding track and I feel like it fits my driving style well to be up on the wheel for the whole race. With 200 laps, it’s a long one, but I think if we conserve the car in the first half, we will be there at the end to race for the win. The competition is going to be tough. Looking forward to getting back there.”

Saturday’s race day schedule begins with practice from 2-3 p.m., followed by Mayhew Tools pole qualifying at 5 p.m. The green flag for the Duel at the Dog 200 is scheduled for 8:30 p.m., live on FloRacing.TV. All tickets for the event are available in advance at JDVProductions.com and will also be sold on race day.
