Barre, VT and Naples, ME — Officials from The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) announced today that they have renewed their partnership with Anheuser-Busch for the 2022 season at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway. Anheuser-Busch, through its world-famous Budweiser brand, will serve as the presenting sponsor for the 60th annual Sunoco World Series of Auto Racing scheduled for October 7th– 9th. Founded more than 160 years ago, Anheuser-Busch is one of America’s most iconic companies and the undisputed leader of the U.S. beer industry with Budweiser recognized as the King of Beers.

The 60th Annual Sunoco World Series of Auto Racing presented by Budweiser kicks off Friday October 7th with the Modified Racing Series (MRS) 75-lap event, round one of the Weston Automotive Triple Crown for the Sunoco Modifieds, along with a full card of support divisions to be announced. Racing resumes on the afternoon of Saturday, October 8th, highlighted by the 150-lap event for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and twin-75-lap events for the Pro All Stars Series and American-Canadian Tour.  This all leads to a busy day-three on Sunday, October 9th that features the $20,000 to win Outlaw Open Modified Series Thompson 300 with Keith Rocco looking to repeat his 2021 triumph.

“We’re very excited to renew our relationship with Anheuser-Busch,” ACT managing partner Cris Michaud said. “Everyone knows that Budweiser is the King of Beers so to have that name on one of the biggest auto racing events in the Northeast is a natural fit.”

The introduction of lager beer to the United States during the mid-19th century forever changed the landscape of the brewing industry. When Anheuser-Busch was founded in the 1850s, it started as a small neighborhood brewery. Through the combined efforts of Eberhard Anheuser, Adolphus Busch, and thousands of employees, Anheuser Busch quickly transformed from a local fixture into a national presence allowing consumers across America to enjoy beers like Michelob, Faust, and Budweiser. Our time-honored traditions of brewing the highest quality beer while constantly innovating has pushed the future of our industry forward. Today, Anheuser-Busch employs thousands of people nationwide, all united by a deep passion for dreaming big and supporting the communities that we call home.

In addition to the traditional lineup of Budweiser, Anheuser-Busch has several other nationally-known brands, including Bud Light, Busch, Michelob Ultra, and extensive lines of Hard Seltzers and Soda’s. Learn more about the company and its products at www.anheuser-busch.com/.

Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park continues the summer racing season on Wednesday, July 13th at 6:00pm. Just three events remain until the 60th Annual Sunoco World Series of Auto Racing presented by Budweiser returns to the Thompson high banks on Friday, October 7th through Sunday the 9th. Highlighted by three days of Tour-type Modified racing, including the Thompson 300 and NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, the Weston’s Auto Sunoco Modified Triple Crown and championship action for the Pro All Stars Series and American-Canadian Tour, the 60th Sunoco World Series of Auto Racing presented by Budweiser has a little bit of everything for every auto racing fan!
