HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. – The second half of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season begins Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and three-time series champion Justin Bonsignore is ready to roll to the Granite State.

Ready to compete in the Whelen Manufactured in America 100 at the Magic Mile, Bonsignore will look for his second career points-paying win at the New Hampshire oval. Through eight races so far during the 2022 season, Bonsignore has two wins and sits inside the top-five in the championship standings.

New Hampshire is known for high-speed, drafting, and intense finishes coming to the checkered – and Bonsignore has been involved in many of them. Although he only has one points-paying win, Bonsignore has a victory in the non-points Whelen All-Star Shootout and also has finished inside the top-five in nine of his races. Last year, he led 63 laps and finished second.

In his last six New Hampshire races, the Holtsville, New York, three-time Whelen Modified Tour champion has led 281 laps.

“We’ve performed well at Loudon over the years,” Bonsignore said. “It’s always been a wild card race during the season because of the pack racing, but having a strong car and staying out of trouble and getting to the last few laps is always the name of the game. Anything can happen in the final couple of laps. Winning at New Hampshire on the same weekend as the NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series races is always special. We were able to win on Cup weekend at Richmond Raceway earlier this year and we should have a good shot at doing it again this weekend. This is one of those crown-jewel races for our series.”

New Hampshire’s race day action will be split up into two days. Friday will include practice from 3:15-4:30 p.m., followed by Mayhew Tools Pole Qualifying to conclude the day at 6:45 p.m. The Whelen Manufactured in America 100 will take place on Saturday, July 16 at 6 p.m. The day will also include the NASCAR Xfinity Series earlier in the afternoon with the Crayon 200. The Whelen Modified Tour race will air live on FloRacing.TV for those who can’t make it to the track.
