This Friday night August 12th at the Claremont Motorsports Park the Racers Honoring Racers 100 Tour Type Modified feature will finally get the green flag. The race was originally scheduled to be run back on Memorial Day weekend, but mother nature did not cooperate.
The night was put together with the hard work of The Racing Guys, Jim Schaefer, Claremont Motorsports Park and others to honor long time race promotor Dick Williams, Bob Summers, and Claremont heroes. The Modified
The list of sponsors is impressive with The Racing Guys, Maurice Enterprises and Ron Bouchard Auto Parts as the title sponsors. Those sponsors and about 2 dozen others will help to pay the winner a cool $15,000.00 with $1,200.00 to take the green. Additionally, most laps have been sold to allow the fans to help support this event.
The Granite State Pro Stock Series will also have the Key Chevrolet Buick GMC of Newport 100 lap feature paying $7,500.00 to win plus 4 local Claremont divisions round out a full night of racing.
