OAKS, PA – It’s showtime.
The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco launches its 10th anniversary season this weekend at the Motorsports Racecar and Trade Show inside the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center in Oaks, Pa., Friday and Saturday (Jan. 20-21).
The series will be represented with an expansive 600-square-foot display in Booths No. 216-218, 316-318.
East Greenbush, N.Y.’s David Schilling will have the BDR Speed/Ollie’s No. 20 STSS ‘Cajun Swing’ top-points-earning ride on display at the STSS booth. The 26-year-old driver never finished outside the top five during the Texas/Louisiana ‘Cajun Swing’ events last November.
Joining Schilling will be the defending Belmont’s Garage STSS Crate 602 Sportsman South Region champion Joe Toth. The Upper Makefield, Pa., resident will have the Andy Belmont-owned No. 917 honoring his grandfather, Bill Tanner.
STSS 2023 printed schedules will be available at the show for all regions and the ‘Elite’ program in its second year.
Hot off the press from Bob Hilbert Sportswear: new STSS 2023 “10th Anniversary” tour apparel (tees – $20 and hoodies – $35) will be on sale.
STSS ’23 membership forms will be available in addition to entry forms for the upcoming events at Lake View Motor Speedway (Nichols, S.C.) and All-Tech Raceway (Lake City, Fla.).
Registration forms will be available for The American Racer Cup presented by Sunoco Modified and Sportsman competitors. Drivers registering prior to 6 p.m. on Saturday will be entered into a drawing for two FREE tire certificates for both the Modified and Sportsman divisions. The drawing will be shown LIVE on The American Racer Cup Facebook page.
