Speedway 51 VMRS Race IS Cancelled

(Canaan NH) – Valenti Modified Racing Series president Jack Bateman announced Friday, the series race scheduled July 27, at Groveton, New Hampshire’s Speedway 51, has been cancelled.

Bateman cited a conflicting date as the reason.

“After taking into consideration the Tri-Track Series event at Star Speedway on that date, it’s the logical thing to do . Car count is a concern and I conveyed that to Speedway 51 management. We considered another date but none would work. We are disappointed but are hoping to schedule a race next year.” Bateman said.
