THE TRACK @ HILLSIDE BUFFALO TO HOST SEVEN RACE OF CHAMPIONS EVENTS IN 2019

Five Race of Champions Series set to do battle on the High Banks at Hillside; Modifieds, Sportsman Modifieds, Late Models, Super Stocks and Four Cylinders on 2019 Schedule

Holland, New York – (November 19, 2018) – The Track @ Hillside, part of the Hillside Buffalo Entertainment Complex will be hosting seven Race of Champions events during the 2019 racing season.

The premiere of the Race of Champions will take place on Saturday, July 6 with an exciting 100-lap Asphalt Modified Series race. The Modifieds will be joined on this date by the Race of Champions Four Cylinder Dash Series for the Butch Palmer Tribute 32-lap tribute race.

The Race of Champions Asphalt Sportsman Modified Series will visit Hillside Buffalo for the first time on Saturday, August 10, for the running of the George Decker Memorial, commonly referred to as “The Decker”.

The Race of Champions Late Models will also return this season. On Saturday, July 20 and the running of the traditional “Bud 100” will take place on Saturday, September 7.

The Race of Champions Super Stock Series will have two opportunities to compete on the high-banks this season. As part of the season opening event on Saturday, May 25 and alongside the Sportsman Modified Series on Saturday, August 10.

RACE OF CHAMPIONS LATE MODELS RETURN TO THE TRACK @ HILLSIDE BUFFALO FOR THE “RETRUN OF THE BUD 100”

– Friday Night Under the Lights at the Track @ Hillside Buffalo for 100-lap Late Model Race –

Holland, N.Y. – (September 4, 2018) – The Race of Champions Late Model Series returns to action this Friday night at the Track @ Hillside Buffalo for 100-lap feature that signifies the return of a true tradition to the high-banked historic oval.

The “Return of the Bud 100” will take center-stage Friday, September 7. Dave Heitzhaus of Strykersville, N.Y., has been a participant and winner of the 100-lap event in the past and is looking forward to competing once again this Friday.

“It should be a good race as we continue to try and rebuild the Late Model division in Western New York,” stated the veteran racer, Heitzhaus. “We’ve been running a limited schedule, but this race has been circled on our calendar all along. It’s been a Late Model tradition for years and we are really looking forward to it and I’m hoping we can turn in a good performance.”

Sam Fullone of North Collins, N.Y., currently leads Eldon King, III of Delavan, N.Y., in the Series championship standings heading into the event.

The grandstands will open at 6:30 pm with Qualifying beginning at 7:30 pm for the Friday, September 7, 2018 event.

THE TRACK @ HILLSIDE BUFFALO READY TO HOST THE THUNDER IN THE HILLS 100

-Race of Champions Four Cylinder Dash Series to Kick Off Inaugural Season with Butch Palmer Memorial-

Holland, New York – (July 16, 2018) – The Track @ Hillside Buffalo (formerly Holland International Speedway) is getting ready to host the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified and Four Cylinder Dash Series this coming Saturday night with the running of the Thunder in the Hills 100 and 32-lap Butch Palmer Memorial.

Daryl Lewis, Jr., of Ontario, N.Y., has been one of the most consistent racers this year within the Modified Series. Lewis has recorded three third place finishes in the series first four races. His other finish was an 8th place at Lake Erie Speedway in June.

“We are gearing up for another good run,” stated Lewis. “The season has been going well for us and I really enjoy the track. We have been a good streak of luck. Hopefully we can keep our streak going and improve a couple of positions and get the win that we’ve been going for. We’ve been fortunate to finish all of our races this season with good performances.”

The Four Cylinder Dash Series also opens its season with the prestigious Butch Palmer Memorial 32-lap race. The four races on the 2018 will pay $333.33 each to win with several bonuses being offered for the Palmer Memorial at The Track @ Hillside Buffalo. The Palmer family is posting several bonuses for the race.
