KUBOTA HIGH LIMIT RACING 410 SPRINT MIDWEEK MONEY SERIES RACE IS ON TUESDAY MAY 28

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway will present a NASCAR Modified double-feature program this Saturday night!

After completing all qualifying for three divisions and one feature race in just over two hours last Saturday night, rain arrived just in time to postpone the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modified feature race, bringing an abrupt ending to last week’s NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series racing program. Because of last week’s shortened show, race fans will enjoy double the action this Saturday, May 18 with the presentation of TWO – T.P. Trailer 30-lap Modified feature races in the same evening.

The race program this Saturday will be the traditional double header for the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman, including all qualifying events for both divisions leading into a 30-lap Modified main event and a 25-lap Sportsman feature race plus the 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature held-over from May 11 will be added to the show.

The held-over T.P. Trailer Modified feature will be the first Modified event during the program, so fans need to arrive early so as not to miss any of the double-feature race action.

All of this exciting action will be conducted for the regular admission prices, with adult grandstand admission at $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

Pit gates will open at 3:30 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 4:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 5:30 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 6:30 pm.

The Saturday, May 18 program will also see the second of the monthly fan participation Trivia nights, where questions about Grandview Speedway racing will be asked, and fans will be able to win some cool prizes, race tickets for future programs, or gift cards.

This Saturday night prior to the racing program will be the Low Down and Dirty meet and greet hosted once again by Whippy and Jennifer Umbenhauer. The drivers scheduled to participate include Modified driver and defending Champion Brett Kressley, along with Sportsman driver Gavyn Krupp.

The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area from 4-5 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers up close, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway.

A program with carry-over double features has not happened often in recent seasons. As a matter of fact the last time Grandview Speedway presented a program with carry-over double Modified features because of weather was back in the 2019 racing season on June 15, when Duane Howard and Craig Von Dohren picked up the two feature wins on the same evening.

The 2024 season has had its ups and downs so far, beginning with three weeks of racing action, then two weeks of rain postponements, so drivers will be ready to get down to business and put some feature action into the record books this Saturday night.

So far there have been no repeat winners in T.P. Trailer Modified action, with Mike Mahaney, Brett Kressley and Louden Reimert scoring feature wins.

The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman have also seen three different drivers reaching the winner’s circle with Logan Watt, Gavyn Krupp, and Colton Perry recording the wins.

This Saturday night three dozen drivers in each class will be on hand looking to add their names to the winner’s list in the entertaining night of NASCAR stock car racing.

The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman feature which was also rained out last Saturday, will be added to the Saturday, May 25 race event in addition to a completely new two-division program of T.P. Trailer Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, plus the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars.

The final race for the month of May is the first Thunder on the Hill Racing Series program of the year as Levan Machine & Truck Equipment presents the RichMar Florist Midweek Money Series Kubota High Limit Racing 410 Sprint Cars on Tuesday, May 28 starting at 7:30 pm with a rain date of Wednesday, May 29.

The program will feature the PA Posse drivers vs. Kyle Larson and The High Rollers participating in time trials and qualifying races leading into the 35-lap $20,000 to win feature race.

Adult grandstand tickets are $40, children 6-11 are $20, while kids 5 and under are free. Pit admission is $45, and no license is required. Advanced grandstand tickets for this event are available at www.tickethoss.com.
