USAC NATIONAL SPRINT TOUR EASTERN STORM OPENER SET FOR THIS TUESDAY, JUNE 11
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – The busy and exciting month of June schedule continues with two more action packed race programs this week at Grandview Speedway.
The race week will begin with a Thunder on the Hill Racing Series program featuring the Amsoil USAC National Sprint Tour along with the 358 Modifieds in a classic double-header on Tuesday, June 11 starting at 7:30 pm.
The USAC non-wing Sprints will compete in the 40-lap Jesse Hockett Classic which is the opening race of the 17th annual USAC Eastern Storm series, with $6000 going to the race winner following a series of qualifying events.
The 358 Modifieds will also see qualifying events and a 30-lap $3000 to win main event, with a Pioneer Pole Buildings $2000 winner’s bonus should the driver be a first time Thunder Series winner, making for a possible $5000 payday!
The Grandview Speedway Modified regulars will be battling it out with several invaders for the top prize in Thunder Series Modified action.
Some of the top USAC drivers expected include Logan Seavey, C.J. Leary, Daison Pursley, Brady Bacon, Robert Ballou, Kyle Cummins, Justin Grant, Chase Stockon, Jake Swanson and local stars Briggs Danner along with Joey Amantea to name a few.
This Tuesday night prior to the racing program will be the Low Down and Dirty meet and greet hosted once again by Whippy. The USAC drivers scheduled to participate include Briggs Danner, Joey Amantea, Robert Ballou, and Matt Westfall.
The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area from 4:30 to 5:30 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers up close, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway.
Advance ticket holders may enter the grandstand at 4:30 pm, with general admission tickets going on sale and gates opening at 5 pm. Adult grandstand tickets are $35, children 6 to 11 are $10, while kids 5 and under are admitted for free. Pit admission is $40 and no license is required.
Grandview Speedway will then be presenting another NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program on Saturday featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman.
The show on Saturday, June 15 will be sponsored by Macmillan Oil Company of Allentown and include qualifying events for both classes leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature and a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman.

Macmillan Oil Company of Allentown will be set up inside the main gate grandstand entrance to greet fans upon their arrival with lots of giveaways including hats to the first 750 fans through the front gate.
Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.
Adult grandstand admission is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.
Fans will also have a chance to win cool prizes in the monthly triva night contest when questions about Grandview Speedway racing will be asked to test their skill and knowledge!
This past Saturday night Brett Kressley scored the feature win and continues his climb up the ladder in T.P. Trailer Modified points now sitting in seventh position following his second victory of the year.
Jeff Strunk was a late race charger and scored a strong third place finish to remain on top in the T.P. Trailer Modified point standings, while Craig Von Dohren rebounded from a mid-race flat tire pit stop to score a solid ninth place effort and now has moved to the second spot in the standings.
Duane Howard sits third in points despite not scoring a top ten, after being involved in a mid-race mishap but still managed to finish the feature. Mike Gular also had problems and did not finish but still holds down fourth in points while Eddie Strada had a strong run to finish sixth in Saturday’s feature and has moved to the fifth position in the point standings.

Mark Kemmerer scored the win in the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman feature last Saturday night for his first win of the year becoming the year’s fifth different winner.
Point leader Logan Watt scored a sixth place run to remain on top in the standings, while Adrianna Delliponti did not make a top ten finish but still holds down second in points, followed by Dylan Swinehart who also missed a top ten run but holds down the third position in points.
Ryan Graver sits fourth in the standings despite missing a top ten run, and Brett Gilmore moved to fifth in points after picking up the hard charger award on Saturday moving forward from 25th starting spot to finish in eleventh position.

Race fans will be taking a trip down memory lane on Saturday, July 6 when Grandview Speedway presents 90’s night.
The highlight of the night will be the roll back of the grandstand admission to 1990’s pricing, as fans will pay just $10 for a complete night of T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modified and T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman competition!
