orth East, Pa. – (September 16, 2024) – The Race of Champions “Family of Series” plays a huge role in the biggest weekend of racing in the region at Lake Erie Speedway in North East, Pa., as part of Race of Champions Weekend leading up to the running of the VP Racing Fuels Race of Champions 250.

The Race of Champions Sportsman Modified; Super Stock; Late Model; Street Stock; FOAR SCORE Four Cylinder Dash and Rocket Performance 602 Sportsman Modified Series all have a role in the exciting weekend of racing that is tribute, celebration and party in honor of the great sport of short track racing at one of the top facilities in the nation at Lake Erie Speedway.

The FOAR SCORE Four Cylinder Dash Series races on all three days of the giant weekend. The Race of Champions Sportsman Modified; Late Model; Super Stock and Rocket Performance 602 Sportsman highlight a tremendous program on Saturday, September 21 and the Street Stocks join the FOAR SCORE Four Cylinder Dash and Modified Series on Sunday to close out the incredible weekend.

The VP Racing Fuels Race of Champions 250 for the Race of Champions Modified Series is the marquee event on Sunday, September 22.

The Race of Champions Weekend schedule has been released and updated to include a “Friday Night” party in the pits where competitors who participated in practice will be encouraged to leave their cars out as we “open” the pits for an evening together with music and friends to peruse and hangout in the pit area with their favorite drivers following practice for the prestigious race weekend.

Sunday’s VP Racing Fuels Race of Champions 250 is set to roll off just after 4:00pm giving attendees plenty of time to return home following the race. On average the race takes just less than 2 hours to complete.

The three-day celebration of short track racing features the Race of Champions Modified; Sportsman; Late Model; Super Stock. The VP Racing Fuels Race of Champions 250 will be a “mid-afternoon” event on Sunday, September 22.
