A trip to Super DIRTcar Series Victory Lane isn’t an easy feat to accomplish.

But in 2024, nine drivers conquered that challenge, including seven who added to their win totals. Two others joined the list for the first time, bringing the total number of Super DIRTcar Series winners to 194.

Here’s a look at where the nine drivers who won in 2024 rank on the Series all-time wins list:

Matt Sheppard (Rank 2/Wins 97): Matt Sheppard remained second on the all-time wins list after earning three victories in 2024.

The 10-time Series champion kicked off the year by winning two of the three Features at Volusia Speedway Park during Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals in February. Then, he added another in the King of the North finale at Autodrome Drummond in July.

“Super Matt” has 97 Super DIRTcar Series wins, trailing Brett Hearn (141 wins) by 44 victories.

Stewart Friesen (Rank 6/Wins 47): Like Sheppard, Stewart Friesen added three wins to his total in 2024, including his sixth Billy Whittaker Cars 200 victory during Super DIRT Week at Oswego Speedway, tying him with Hearn for most all-time.

Along with Oswego, Friesen found Victory Lane at Big Diamond Speedway in June and Weedsport Speedway in July. The Niagara-on-the-Lake, ON driver has 47 career victories and trails five-time Series champion Alan Johnson by 10 wins for fifth all-time.

Tim Fuller (Rank 8/Wins 36): It took Tim Fuller nearly all season to reach Victory Lane, but the Northeast Dirt Modified Hall of Fame driver scored a victory during World Finals to add to his total.

The Edwards, NY driver remains eighth on the all-time wins list with 36 triumphs, trailing fellow North Country driver Bob McCreadie by five wins for seventh.

Mat Williamson (Rank 9 (tied)/Wins 31): Mat Williamson’s 2024 championship-winning season saw him reach Victory Lane nine times.

The St. Catharines, ON drivers opened the season with a win at Volusia, before scoring wins at Weedsport Speedway, Land of Legends Raceway (2), Albany-Saratoga Speedway (2), Can-Am Speedway, Ransomville Speedway, and The Dirt Track at Charlotte.

After earning his 31st career Super DIRTcar Series win at World Finals, Williamson is tied with Jack Johnson for ninth all-time.

Jimmy Phelps (Rank 15 (tied)/Wins 22): Jimmy Phelps jumped back in the win column in 2024 by earning the win in The Natural 77 Honoring Dale Planck at Thunder Mountain Speedway.

The triumph in New York’s southern tier was his 22nd victory, tying him for 15th all-time with four-time Series champion Will Cagle.

Anthony Perrego (Rank 37 (tied)/ Wins 5): For the second time in his career, Anthony Perrego drove to a multi-win season with the Super DIRTcar Series.

His first victory in 2024 came in the opening race of the championship season when he snuck by Darren Smith in the closing laps to win Power in the Pines at New Egypt Speedway. Then, he ended the season on a high note by winning the season finale at World Finals.

With his fifth career win, the Montgomery, NY driver is tied for 37th on the all-time wins list.

Alex Yankowski (Rank 69 (tied)/Wins 2): Alex Yankowski was part of the closest finish of the 2024 Super DIRTcar Series season, besting Adam Pierson by 0.091 seconds in the SummerFAST finale at Fulton Speedway.

The win was the Covington Township, PA driver’s second of his career, moving him into a tie for 69th all-time.

Michael Parent (Rank 193/Wins 1): Michael Parent was the first of two drivers to add their name to the Super DIRTcar Series win list in 2024.

The Granby, QC driver earned his win in front of a thunderous Quebec crowd when he became the first French-Canadian to win a Super DIRTcar Series race at Autodrome Drummond since Steve Poirer in 2002.

Alex Payne (Rank 194/ Wins 1): Alex Payne’s most memorable moment of his rookie season came at Brockville Ontario Speedway in September.

The Hopewell, NY competitor held off a late-race charge from Sheppard to score his first Super DIRTcar Series win in the Canadian Classic, capped off by an emotional celebration in Victory Lane.

With his victory, Payne became the 194th different winner in Series history.
