LAKE CITY, FL – 2025: preparing to launch.
The Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco opens its 2025 season in the Sunshine State Feb. 4-8. The pristine All-Tech Raceway in Lake City, Fla., serves as the backdrop for the sixth ‘Sunshine Swing’ mini-series for STSS Modifieds and Sportsman.
An open practice on Feb. 4 (Tuesday) sets the stage for four consecutive nights of racing on Florida soil.
Entries are rolling in for both the STSS Modified and Sportsman divisions.
By mid-January, STSS Modified registrants span New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Louisiana, Texas and the Canadian provinces of Quebec and Ontario. Among the early entries:
· Ontario’s Dalton Slack, making his debut at All-Tech Raceway with the series
· Last year’s New Egypt (N.J.) Speedway STSS winner Danny Bouc
· Southern States Modified champion Patrik Daniel, hauling in from Texas
· Cajun competitor and Louisiana native Tommy Rascoe
· Penn Can Speedway (Susquehanna, Pa.) champion Danny Creeden
· Quebec representatives Francois Bellemare and Simon Perreault
· Fonda and Utica-Rome (N.Y.) regular Bobby Hackel IV
· Keystone State young gun Tanner Van Doren
· New Jersey rising star Paul Mancini
· New York state representatives Zach Payne and Daniel Morgiewicz
STSS Sportsman drivers make the ‘Sunshine Swing’ at All-Tech a destination week. New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, North Carolina and Quebec, Canada.
STSS Sportsman registrants to date include:
· STSS Sportsman South Region champion Logan Watt
· North Carolina’s Jeffrey Tiley, a competitor in the growing Sportsman division at Lake View Speedway in South Carolina
· Quebec natives Donovan Lussier, Eric Lauziere, Felix Murray and Jacob Nadeau
· Empire State talents Dylan Madsen, Nick Zielinski, Michael Ballestero and Zack Welch
· Matthew Ellery, Paulie Hartwig III and Rob Tete representing New Jersey
· Massachusetts resident John Santolin

An open practice on Tuesday (Feb. 4) sets the stage for four consecutive nights of racing at All-Tech to kick-start the ’25 Northeast Modified season.
Wednesday (Feb. 5) brings a 30-lap, $4,000-to-win STSS Modified main event and a 25-lap, $1,500-to-win headliner for the STSS Crate 602 Sportsman.
On Thursday (Feb. 6), STSS Modifieds go 35 laps with $5,000 up for grabs and STSS Crate 602 Sportsman race 25 laps with $1,500 going to the winner.
Friday (Feb. 7) sees the STSS Modified main increase to 40 laps offering $6,000 to the winner, while STSS Crate 602 Sportsman increase to 30 laps and a $2,000 top prize.
Saturday’s (Feb. 8) finale is topped by a 50-lap, $7,500-to-win STSS Modified main and a 30-lap, $2,000-to-win Crate 602 Sportsman program.
For the Friday and Saturday portions, the popular Crown Vic division joins the STSS contingent paying $300 to the winner on Friday and $500 on Saturday. The Crown Vic division takes part in a three-race Winter Heat Series that also includes the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event at All-Tech Feb. 1.
Again in ’25, ‘Sunshine Swing’ champions will be crowned in both the STSS Modified and STSS Crate 602 Sportsman divisions.
The entire week of racing will be televised on FloRacing (www.floracing.tv).
The ‘Sunshine Swing’ tire rule for both STSS Modifieds and STSS Crate 602 Sportsman is as follows: Right-Rear: American Racer 53 ONLY; Left-Rear: American Racer 44 ONLY; Right-Front: American Racer 44 ONLY; Left-Front: Any American Racer tire.
