BROOKFIELD, NY – Time marches on.
Brookfield Speedway – the historic quarter-mile oval located on New York’s Madison County Fairgrounds – is set to embark on its 2025 season kicking off on Memorial Day Weekend: Sunday, May 25.
The ‘Fast Cars & Freedom’ special is highlighted by the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco Sportsman in a Madsen Overhead Doors Inc. North Region event paying $1,500 to the winner for 25 laps.
The event marks the third STSS event in Brookfield history. Blaine Klinger (2023) and Michael Ballestero (2024) are previous STSS winners at Brookfield.
For the first time, the Hustle the Highway Series for 600 Modifieds will appear at Brookfield on May 25 for the first of two appearances this season.
Pro Stocks, Four Cylinders and Slingshots (Allstar and Junior) will also be on the card.
The program will wrap up with a 50-lap Enduro utilizing the Utica-Rome Speedway (Vernon, N.Y.) rules package from Jan. 1.
During the December annual meeting of the Madison County Fair Board, members affirmed Brett Deyo as the speedway promoter again for 2025.
A tentative schedule with one race per month from May through October was outlined, with a complete agenda to be released in the coming weeks.
