Trenton, NJ – After an extraordinary 2024 season that saw Steven Snyder Jr. rack up a staggering 15 victories in a 600 Micro Sprint and pocket over $100,000 in earnings, one major achievement remains missing from his impressive resume: an East Coast Dirt Indoor Nationals victory inside Trenton’s CURE Insurance Arena.
On February 21st and 22nd, the 20-year-old phenom from Rising Sun MD is returning to Trenton determined to add the coveted trophy and $5,000 to his growing list of triumphs.
Snyder set the 600 Sprint world ablaze last season. Running a car out of the Hyper Racing stable in Lewisberry, PA, Snyder traveled the country—and he came home with pockets full of cash all summer long. He won the High Banks Hustle at Southern Illinois Raceway, worth $12,500, and a $10,000 triumph in the Mark Hagopian Memorial at Plaza Park Raceway in California.
Snyder battled for the lead for much of last year’s race in Trenton before finishing fourth behind winner Anthony Perrego, Brian Carber, Briggs Danner.
“I don’t like to lose, but I was smiling ear to ear after the race, even though I ran fourth. That was the most fun I had all year. It’s a small bullring with a great cushion, and you can run right up against the wall. It’s so exciting,” said Snyder of last year’s effort.
Accomplishments last season helped Snyder land a full time ride for the NOS Energy Drink USAC National Midget Series schedule and a winged 410 Sprint Car ride when time permits in the Mike Heffner/ Curt Michael machine. But first comes Trenton.
Snyder will again be steering a Jim Radney owned, Hyper Black/ EVO Fuel Injection No. 95 as he attempts to add to his substantial bank account before embarking on a season of new challenges.
