DOVER, Del. (March 4, 2025) – This summer, Dover Motor Speedway and Visit Delaware are partnering to offer NASCAR fans the chance to explore other First State landmarks while visiting the Monster Mile for its annual NASCAR weekend.
From Thursday, July 17 to Saturday, July 19, two FREE shuttles per day will leave Dover Motor Speedway to the Rehoboth Beach bandstand and the Delaware State Fair in Harrington, Del., respectively. NASCAR fans will have plenty of time to enjoy the boardwalks, midways, sand and fun of Delaware summer hot spots and be back at the track in plenty of time for the green flag and on-track action.
Scheduled shuttle departure times include:
- Thursday, July 17
- 11 a.m. – Departs Dover to Delaware beaches (Rehoboth Beach Bandstand), leaves beach at 3 p.m.
- Noon – Shuttle departs Dover to Delaware State Fair, leaves fair at 4 p.m.
- Friday, July 18
- 10 a.m. – Departs Dover to Delaware beaches (Rehoboth Beach Bandstand), leaves beach at 2 p.m.
- 11 a.m. – Shuttle departs Dover to Delaware State Fair, leaves fair at 3 p.m.
- Saturday, July 19
- 10 a.m. – Departs Dover to Delaware beaches (Rehoboth Beach Bandstand), leaves beach at 2 p.m.
- 11 a.m. – Shuttle departs Dover to Delaware State Fair, leaves fair at 3 p.m.
Advance online registration is required to board the FREE shuttles. Friday and Saturday shuttle passengers will be back at the track before the green flag flies in the General Tire 150 ARCA Menards Series race on Friday, July 18 (5 p.m., FS1) and the BetRivers 200 NASCAR Xfinity Series race (4:30 p.m., The CW, Performance Racing Network) on Saturday, July 19.
“We are incredibly proud of the top summer destinations The First State has to offer visitors from all over the world,” said Mike Tatoian, Dover Motor Speedway’s president and general manager. “Our team is making it very simple for Monster Mile fans to experience some of Delaware’s most popular summer attractions without missing any of the action in our Fan Zone and on the track during our race weekend!”
The weekend’s racing centerpiece, the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Cup Series race (Sunday, July 20, 2 p.m., TNT, Performance Racing Network) is race No. 4 in NASCAR on TNT’s debut five-race in-season tournament, which runs five consecutive weeks from June 28 (Atlanta) through July 27 (Indianapolis).
“There is truly nothing like experiencing a summer day at Delaware’s beaches or our state fair, and we are thrilled to partner with the Speedway to make this unique experience available to the NASCAR fans visiting our state in July,” said Delaware Tourism Office Director Jessica Welch. “By providing this opportunity to these fans coming from around the world, we hope they will consider planning a future trip to Delaware to see all that our state has to offer.”
2025 marks 56 consecutive years that Dover Motor Speedway has hosted a NASCAR Cup Series event. The Monster Mile is one of only 10 tracks in the country to host 100 or more NASCAR Cup Series races.
