fifth race of the SMART Modified Tour season will bring the Sadler-Stanley Racing team to Hickory Motor Speedway this Saturday evening. The Hickory Hundred will take place at the track known as the ‘Birthplace of NASCAR Stars’ as the SMART Tour wraps a busy opening portion of the season.
Through the first four races, Luke Baldwin has one victory and leads the series championship standings. Cash currently sits 10th in the championship battle, with three top-10 finishes.
Both drivers had strong runs last week at Orange County. Baldwin finished in fifth and Cash followed in sixth. Both will look to bring the momentum to Hickory this weekend. The Hickory event is the final for now, until Memorial Day weekend.
The schedule for race day at Hickory Motor Speedway includes practice from 2:30-3:15 p.m., followed by Pace-O-Matic qualifying at 4:45 p.m.. The main event, the Hickory Hundred, is scheduled to go green around 7:30 p.m., live on FloRacing.TV.
