BROOKFIELD, NY – The start to something big. Literally.
An extensive expansion project at Brookfield Speedway is underway in advance of the 2025 season opener at the Madison County Fairgrounds venue.
During the last two weeks, both sets of corners and the backstretch have been expanded by 12 feet, providing a significantly wider racing surface for competitors.
Loads of new clay have been hauled in to fill the newly widened racing groove.
“The amount of progress at Brookfield over the last three seasons has been remarkable,” offered Brett Deyo, who promotes the speedway with the Madison County Fair Board.
“Racers and fans are going to love the newly widened layout.”
The 2025 Brookfield Speedway season gets the green flag on Sunday, May 25 with the third annual ‘Fast Cars & Freedom’ special.
