TAKE TWO: JOHN BLEWETT INC. PRESENTS SECOND TRY AT ‘POINTS OPENER’ FOR NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY

NEW EGYPT, NJ – Take two.

The 2025 championship pursuit at New Egypt Speedway is once again slated to kick off this Saturday, April 12, with a full night of racing presented by John Blewett Inc.

The Modifieds headline the New Egypt Speedway points opener, as Ringoes, N.J.’s Ryan Godown begins his pursuit of a record seventh Modified championship at the D-shaped oval.

Also on the racing docket are the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman, XDP Street Stocks, Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars (NEWS), and the Fastline Performance Rookies.

The event comes on the heels of the highly successful ‘Thunder in the Pines’ event when the Super DIRTcar Series was in town.

Sprakers, N.Y.’s Stewart Friesen claimed the $7,500 payday over Alex Yankowski and Logan Watt.

Parkertown, N.J.’s Ryan Heim won the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman event and Southampton, N.J.’s Bobby Drayton III claimed the Four Cylinder triumph.

For the April 12 event, pit gates open at 3 p.m. with the grandstands unlocking at 4 p.m. Hot laps begin at 5 p.m. with racing to follow at 6 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $23 for adults, $20 for Seniors (65 and up), and $15 for Military w/ID and Teens (12-15). Kids 11 and under are admitted FREE.

Pit admission is $40 (w/o a license) and $30 (w/ a license).
