NEW EGYPT, NJ – Go Time.
After a rainy stretch at the end of May and into June, New Egypt Speedway preps for a busy eight-day stretch featuring three nights of racing action led off by Vintage/Little League Night this Saturday, June 21.
The Modifieds headline the Saturday night affair with everyone chasing Pipersville, Pa.’s Danny Bouc at the top of the standings.
Joining the Modifieds are the Xtreme Diesel Performance LLC., (XDP) Street Stocks, the 600 XCEL Modifieds, Northeast Wingless Sprints (NEWS), and an Exhibition for Vintage Cars.
Along with the racing action, fan activities will take place as prizes will be given out for the best ‘vintage’ racing shirts. For Little League Night, four random kids in their organized baseball uniforms will be selected to participate in a Home Run Derby, each being paired up with a driver.

For the June 21 event, pit gates open at 3 p.m. with the grandstands unlocking at 4 p.m. Hot laps begin at 5:30 p.m. with racing to follow at 6:30 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $23 for Adults, $20 for Seniors, and $15 for Military w/ID and Teens 12-15. Kids 11 and under are admitted FREE.
Pit admission is $40 (w/o a license) and $30 (w/ a license).
The week continues just three days later (Tuesday, June 24), as the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco rolls into town for the 11th annual ‘Dirty Jersey.’
The STSS Modifieds headline the affair going for 50 laps and a $6,000 top prize up for grabs.
The STSS Crate 602 Sportsman and New Egypt Speedway Four Cylinders join the Tuesday night program.
The event will be streamed on FloRacing (www.floracing.tv).
The busy stretch concludes on Saturday, June 28 with the first annual ‘Bill Liedtka Memorial’ presented XDP.
The XDP Street Stocks race for 31 laps in search of a $1,310 top prize.
The Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman, Four Cylinders, and NEWS Sprints complete the June 28 program.
