NEW EGYPT, NJ – Hall of Fame.

The inaugural New Egypt Speedway Hall of Fame class will be enshrined on Saturday, July 12, as the Central Jersey oval pays homage to the history makers at the speedway.

Training Tails Doggy Daycare and Training – located just north of Dover, Del. – presents the night of racing and the inaugural Hall of Fame class at New Egypt Speedway.

The inaugural Hall of Fame Class features multi-time champions, all-time winners, and legends of the speedway.

The 2025 Hall of Fame Class is:

Billy Pauch Sr.

New Egypt Speedway’s greatest driver stands alone by a wide margin atop the all-time win list with a staggering 126 victories from ’99-’16. Pauch won 14 times (most ever in a season) twice and 13 times once during his tenure. ‘The Kid’s’ six titles have him tied for the most championships ever at the D-shaped oval where Pauch made his name.

Kenny Brightbill

One of Dirt Modified racing’s all-time greats will be honored for his efforts at New Egypt Speedway during his career. Brightbill won an astounding 11 times in ’98 (3rd most in one season) and another nine times in ’99. Kenny Brightbill finished in the top three in Modified points every season from ’98-’01 and sits fourth on the all-time win list with 29.

Ryan Godown

While still active with time to add his resume, Ryan Godown has established himself as a “no doubt” Hall of Famer at his longtime home track. Godown sits second on the all-time Modified win list with 61 and is tied with Pauch Sr. with six championships to his credit including the last two in ’23 and ’24.

Billy Liedtka

Billy Liedtka dominated the Street Stock ranks in his time, with 43 wins to his name, 17 more than anybody else in the division. ‘Wild Bill’ also is tied for the most Street Stock titles at the speedway with three. Liedtka’s untimely passing one year ago cut short a chance at championship number four and likely several more wins to his name.

Rocco Infante

Rocco Infante sits atop the all-time win list in the Sportsman division with 29 wins to his credit and three track championships in a row from ’09-’11. Infante’s success expanded beyond the Sportsman division however as he won seven times in the Super Stock division and was a one-time winner in the Modified division in May of 2013.

Keith Hoffman

Sixth on the all-time Modified win list, Keith Hoffman has 26 wins to his credit at New Egypt Speedway and a track championship to his name in 2001. In addition to the championship, Hoffman finished runner-up in the standings in ’00, ’02, ’04, ’05, and ’08. Nobody other than Pauch Sr. or Godown finished top two in the Modified standings as frequently as Keith Hoffman did in his career at New Egypt Speedway.

Jimmy Horton

The Sensational Jimmy Horton only spent a handful of years racing full-time at New Egypt Speedway, but he made hay in the time he was. Horton boasts 21 career wins to his name at New Egypt Speedway and a pair of track championships coming in ’04 & ’06. Now in semi-retirement, Horton continues to add to his wins list total, picking up a win in September of 2024 with plans to compete more in ’25.

An autograph and meet and greet session will be held featuring some of the inductees before the night of racing begins.

A ceremony will be held following hot laps to honor the inaugural New Egypt Speedway Hall of Fame Class and body panels will be hung around the facility from Hall of Famers cars.

The entire event can be streamed LIVE on the New Egypt Speedway YouTube page (https://www.youtube.com/@NewEgyptSpeedway).
