MANMILLER ELECTRIC PRESENTS MODIFIED CASH DASH REMEMBERING ERNIE SAXTON
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway is all set to present another two-division program of NASCAR stock car racing this Saturday night with a bonus!
On the card this Saturday, August 23, will be the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and the T. P. Truck Equipment Sportsman in a NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program which includes qualifying events for both divisions leading up to the 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature along with a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman.
Saturday’s program will include a bonus event, as Manmiller Electric will be sponsoring a $300 to win Cash Dash for the T.P. Trailer Modified heat race winners in memory of former Track Announcer and PR man Ernie Saxton who passed away just last weekend.
The Saturday, August 23 racing event will be sponsored by PWD Lubricants of Warminster, Pa. which has been a family owned business for over 90 years. They carry Kendall, Coastal, Penn Grade 1 and Liqui Moly brands, meeting all of your lubricant needs.

Also this Saturday night prior to the racing program will be the weekly Low Down and Dirty meet and greet hosted by Brittany Huber. The drivers scheduled to participate this week include TJ Mayberry, Taylor Kramer and Brett Grim.
The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area starting at 5 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers up close, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway.
Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.
Grandstand admission for adults is $20, students ages 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 with a NASCAR license and $45 without a license.
Competition has been fierce this season in the T.P. Trailer Modified division, as eleven different drivers have shared the wealth, with a trip to victory lane. Jeff Strunk and Logan Watt are the only two-time feature winners in a highly competitive 2025 season with single feature wins going to Brian HIrthler, Brett Kressley, Chris Esposito, John Willman, current point leader Duane Howard, Jon Kellner, Ryan Watt, Justin Grim, and last week’s winner Tim Buckwalter, who will all be leading the pack into action this week looking for another victory.
Action will be extra intense entering this Saturday’s program, as Duane Howard is the T.P. Trailer Modified point leader by just seven points over Mike Gular, and 19 markers ahead of third place Jared Umbenhauer, while Louden Reimert is within 104 points, sitting in fourth spot with four point races remaining.
The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman have also been highly competitive, with ten different drivers reaching victory lane during the 2025 season including two-time winners Colin Cox, Jesse Landis and Addison Meitzler, joined by one time winners Lawson Szerencits, Joey Vaccaro, Ryan Graver, Shannon Slaughter, Brett Gilmore, Kenny Gilmore, and last week’s winner Parker Guldin, who will all lead the division into action this Saturday night looking to reach victory lane once again.
Colin Cox has a comfortable 566 point lead over Mike Schneck Jr. in the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman division, however the remaining positions in the top ten are all up for grabs among various drivers who will be jockeying for those precious top spots till the end of the point chase.
Action is sure to be intense, as there will be three dozen competitors in both divisions heading into action this Saturday evening on the high banked one-third-of-a-mile Speedway.
With the point championship chase hitting the final four weeks of the season, attention will now build to the 55th annual Freedom 76 T.P. Trailer Modified championship weekend on September 19 & 20.
The Freedom weekend of racing will include the 12th annual Freedom 38 T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman Championship on Friday, September 19, in addition to rounds of Modified practice for the following day’s Freedom 76 championship race.
Then on Saturday, September 20 will be the presentation of the 55th annual Freedom 76 Modified Classic for the T.P. Trailer Modifieds, competing in their longest and most lucrative race event of the season.
The first bonus of the weekend has already been posted as the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman will be racing for extra money during the Freedom 38, as Roy Miller II of Keller Williams Real Estate will be sponsoring a Cash Dash with a total payout of $500!

The USAC East Coast wingless Sprint cars will make their only visit of the year on Advance Auto Parts Night Saturday, September 6, joining the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman for a huge night of racing starting at 7:30 pm.
