Cook Out’s Shakey and Roo Reaves will join the champions in saying some of the most famous words in motorsports
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Jan. 22, 2026) – Four Bowman Gray Weekly Series 2025 Champions will serve as Grand Marshals alongside Cook Out’s Shakey and 9-year-old Roo Reaves, saying some of the most famous words in motorsports ahead of the 2026 NASCAR Cook Out Clash.
The champions include Brandon Ward from the Modified division, Chase Robertson of the Sportsman division, Bryan Sykes Jr. from the Street Stock division and Brandon Brendle of the Stadium Stock division.
“We’re excited to once again put the spotlight on the standout competitors from our venue as Grand Marshals,” said Justin Swilling, Project Manager for the Cook Out Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium. “Bowman Gray’s tradition of weekly racing in Winston-Salem runs deep, and it’s an honor to celebrate that legacy by featuring the track’s best local talent on a national stage.”
Ward earned his second track championship in the Brad’s Golf Cars Modified division in 2025, securing three wins earlier in the season and earning the title after finishing sixth in a grueling final race. Meanwhile Chase Roberston also secured his second Bowman Gray track title in the Law Offices of John Barrow Sportsman class with a total of six victories at the historic Stadium.
19-year-old Bryan Sykes Jr. fought a tough battle in the QRC Hvac and Refrigeration Street Stock division, earning his first championship by only two points after his dramatic late race pass secured the title. Rounding out the 2025 champions is Brandon Brendle, who earned his second Q104.1 Stadium Stock Championship at Bowman Gray after a consistent season.
