PORT ROYAL, PA – The Speed Palace.
Nestled in the mountains of Pennsylvania’s Juniata County, Port Royal Speedway has claimed its place in the hearts of dirt-track fans and competitors.
Modified and Sportsman competitors get their shot at the half-mile red clay venue annually with the Bob Hilbert Sportswear Short Track Super Series (STSS) Fueled By Sunoco. For 2026, the STSS visit again doubles as the speedway’s Opening Day.
On March 13-14, Port Royal Speedway hosts the annual ‘Speed Showcase’ spectacular.
The event marks the 12th visit by the STSS to Port Royal, dating back to its debut in Oct. 2018.
STSS Modifieds race 60 laps with $12,000 going to the winner, $2,000 for 10th, $1,500 for 15th and $1,000 to take the green flag from a massive purse structure totaling $73,000. The ‘Speed Showcase’ kicks off the NJ Quality Drywall Modified South Region championship chase.
STSS Sportsman compete for their most lucrative winner’s share of the season, racing 40 laps for a $4,000 top prize in Round No. 1 of the Belmont’s Garage South Region.
STSS Sportsman racers make their fifth visit to Port Royal in series history.
Completing the weekend spectacular are the New York State-style Pro Stocks and Four Cylinders (competing under Port Royal Speedway specs).
