(Minersville, Pa. 3-17-26) Big Diamond Speedway is proud to welcome into their family of marketing partners, JRL Emergency Services of Pottsville.
JRL Emergency Services is a family owned and operated business run by Mike Litwak. Litwak is a fourth generation member of the company which has been going strong for over 100 years. It began with his great grandfather, John Litwak, and has been passed down over generations.
JRL Emergency Services specialize in sophisticated diesel engine diagnostics and repair, utilizing cutting-edge technology and time-honored techniques to restore peak performance. Along with that they are also a full service towing operation.
“We do towing and do a lot of mechanical work on RVs and hauler rigs that come in and we also do roll-off dumpsters for demolitions of houses and things like that,” said Litwak.
His towing jobs are not just local but reaching areas that includes north to Canada and all parts of the Northeast and Southeast regions.
Litwak is also a fan of racing and Big Diamond Speedway and is looking forward to being part of the track through his business.
“I grew up in Minersville, and my business is located in Pottsville, and it is pretty standard on Friday nights to hear the engines ripping around the track,” he said.
“Jake (Smulley, owner/promoter) and his family have been good friends over the years and obviously they do a lot throughout the community as well and I’m excited to become a part of this at Big Diamond Speedway.”
Fans of the track will recognize the JRL Emergency Services logo as well thanks to his support of racers Dylan Cappell and Joey Brennan who both hail from Minersville.
“I sponsor a couple cars that run at the track. We help out Dylan Cappell and Joey Brennan,” noted Litwak.
Cappell is entering his second season at Big Diamond. He raced last year in the Big Creek Concrete Rookie 602 Crate Sportsman division and will be making the move to the USS Achey Inc. 602 Crate Sportsman class while Red White and Blue Autos Inc. Roadrunner racer Brennan is a veteran of the speedway having won a class title back in 2012 and maintains a front-runner status each time he competes.
Litwak also lends his support to Slingshot racer Colton Williams from St. Clair. Furthermore, over the years the company has helped out on several drag racing cars.
Five races into the 2026 season will be a special evening as JRL Emergency Services Night takes place. The action will consist of the BQ Concrete 358 Modifieds, Red White and Blue Autos Inc. Roadrunners plus Limited Late Models and the Xcel 600cc Modifieds.
“That’s pretty exciting and we’re looking forward to it,” said Litwak.
