Fonda Speedway Announces Schedule Changes After Rain-Marred Events

FONDA, NY – BD Motorsports Media LLC, promoter of Fonda Speedway, has announced schedule adjustments following two events – April 27 and May 25 – interrupted by rain.

This Saturday (June 1), the CRSA Sprints will not take part in Caputo Racing night to allow time for make-up events to be contested.

A complete program of Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds, Swagger Factory Apparel Crate 602 Sportsman, Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks, Montgomery County Office of the Aging Limited Sportsman and Fonda Fair Four Cylinders will be joined by the April 27 Crate 602 Sportsman and Pro Stock make-up events.

A complete breakdown of make-up features is below:

·         June 1 – April 27 Crate 602 Sportsman & Pro Stock Features

·         June 8 – April 27 Limited Sportsman & May 25 Crate 602 Sportsman Features

·         June 15 – April 27 Modified & May 25 Pro Stock Features

·         June 22 – May 25 Modified & Limited Sportsman Features

With the CRSA Sprint Cars off the schedule for Saturday, general admission has been reduced to $13 (Adults), $11 (Seniors ages 65 and over) and Kids 11 and under are FREE.

Pit admission is $40 (Non-Members), $35 (Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children ages 5 and under.

Since 1953, the Track of Champions Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing. Under the management of BD Motorsports Media LLC, the speedway operates weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events. Fonda Speedway is located on the Montgomery County Fairgrounds off New York State Thruway Exit No. 28 at 21 S. Bridge Street Fonda, NY 12068.
