One of the most anticipated shows at Riverhead Raceway annually takes the spotlight Saturday evening, with the heart pounding, car crushing excitement of the Monster Truck Night of Destruction highlighting the night. A full race card of wall-to-wall action will complement the 1500 horsepower trucks of KSR Motorsports, plus a Kids Big Wheel race and JuiceBox Racers.

Monday morning Jack Brady of KSR Motorsports announced an all-star roster of Monster Trucks headed to Riverhead Saturday. Popular Zombie Sniper will be joined by Shockwave and Be Aware for the free style competition on the infield of the quarter mile speed plant. Crush cars will be strategically placed on the Figure Eight course, these cars serve as a launching ramp for the Monster Trucks as they perform slap wheelies and then wind-up crushed as flat as a dime during the show. Fans can also expect to see cyclones and other precision driving from all three trucks during the show.

Brady also disclosed another popular aspect to the annual Monster Truck Night of Destruction would be back Saturday. Webslinger, a ride truck that for a nominal fee allows fans the opportunity to experience the thrill of riding on a Monster Truck will be providing rides by the general admission gate in the third turn. Full bench seating has been added to the bed of Webslinger, fans will take a ride in the terrain that surrounds Riverhead Raceway. The KSR merchandise trailer will set-up shop by the ride truck.

On track the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series portion of the show will be highlighted by a 40-lap Late Model event, second race of their Miller Lite Triple Crown Series. The Eagle Chevrolet Crate Modifieds return for a 25-lap tilt and are joined by the Blunderbusts and Street Stocks who’ll both go 20-laps. Mini Stock teams will contest their second Miller Lite Triple Crown Series race in a 30-lap feature with a Truck Enduro and old school 8-Cylinder Enduro set to see action.

Opening ceremonies are planned for 6:30 pm, proceeded by qualifying for the NASCAR stock cars. Right after opening ceremonies, the kids get a chance to shine with a Kids Big Wheel Race and JuiceBox Racers first up on the menu.

General admission is $30 for adults, kids 6-12 $20, 5 & under are free. To view our remaining events in 2024, please visit http://www.riverheadraceway.com, emails can be forwarded to office@riverheadraceway.com, our phone number is 631-842-RACE.
