NASCAR MODIFIED, SPORTSMAN, VINTAGE SATURDAY NIGHT AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY – 50 LAP MODIFIED FORREST ROGERS MEMORIAL AUGUST 10

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Grandview Speedway is all set for two nights of racing action this weekend, including racing set for Friday and a triple-header on Saturday night.

The T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman will be joined by the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars this Saturday night at Grandview Speedway as part of a NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program starting at 7:30 pm.

The show on Saturday, July 27 will include qualifying events leading into a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature, a 25-lap feature for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, plus a 15-lap feature event for the Outlaw Series Vintage cars.

Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.

Adult grandstand admission is $20, students 10-15 with ID are $10, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

The racing action for the weekend actually begins on Friday, July 26 as another Outlaw Racing Series Enduro/Vintage double program will be presented along with the addition of the Slingshots. On Friday, grandstand admission for adults is $10, children ages 12 and under are free, while pit admission is $30. Pit gates open at 2 pm, while grandstand gates open at 5 pm, and racing starts at 7 pm.

The action at Grandview Speedway has been extremely competitive so far during the first half of the 2024 season, with seven different drivers reaching victory lane in Saturday night T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modified action, led by Brett Kressley who just picked up win number four on the season last Saturday night.

Louden Reimert has scored three feature wins while Mike Mahaney, John Willman, Bobby Trapper Jr., Cody Manmiller, and Nate Brinker have all picked up one feature win. Eric Kormann and Doug Manmiller each have one victory in Thunder on the Hill Modified action.

These drivers will all be in action this Saturday looking for another win along with top point drivers still looking for their first win including Jeff Strunk, Mike Gular, Craig Von Dohren, Duane Howard, Eddie Strada, Jared Umbenhauer, Ryan Watt, Kevin Hirthler, and nearly three dozen drivers who will be in action.

The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman division has been just as action packed as the Modifieds, as ten different drivers have reached victory lane this season lead by point leader Logan Watt and Gavyn Krupp who have two wins each.

Drivers with one win each include Kenny Bock, Brian Hirthler, Mark Kemmerer, Jesse Landis, Addison Meitzler, Colton Perry, Zach Steffey and this past week Jared LaBagh.

These drivers along with top point drivers Dylan Swinehart, Mike Schneck Jr., Jesse Hirthler, Brett Gilmore, Adrianna Delliponti, Ryan Graver, Nathan Mohr, Logan Bauman, TJ Mayberry, Mike Stofflet, and three dozen drivers will be looking for victory this Saturday night.

Race fans are reminded to check out the ‘In the Dirt’ radio show hosted by Matt Knaub on WEEU 830 AM radio in Reading. ‘In the Dirt’ is dedicated to providing listeners with insightful and in-depth coverage of local dirt track racing in eastern Pennsylvania.

The show recaps the previous weekend of action, previews the upcoming week of races and features guests from the world of dirt track racing. Listeners can catch the show each Monday from 6-7 pm. On WEEU 830 AM.

The month of August will begin with a double-header race program on August 3, with the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman in action along with a Kid’s Money Scramble at intermission all starting at 7:30 pm.

Looking ahead on the race schedule, Saturday August 10 will feature the 54th annual 50-lap Forrest Rogers Memorial for the T.P. Trailer Modifieds in a race program that will also feature the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman and celebrate Grandview Speedway’s 62nd birthday starting at 7:30 pm.

Since the 1960’s, Grandview Speedway has been presenting exciting wheel to wheel NASCAR stock car racing every Saturday Night starting in April and running through October, plus special events.
