In the racing community we meet so many good people along the way. But our racing friends are more than friends, they are family. Evan Canfield was a member of our racing family.

Evan had a passion for racing, especially race photography. He was young, talented, passionate, professional, always smiling, and had a great future in motorsports ahead of him.

Evan was one of the young talents that would be a big part of the future of motorsports.

This January Evan was so proud when he deservedly won the Eastern Motorsports Press Associations Ace Lane Sr. Memorial EMPA Photographer of the Year. The pride by Evan that both he and his dad won awards from EMPA was hard to hide.

Sadly, today we lost Evan at the incredibly young age of twenty-nine.

We send our condolences to his father Duane, mother Stephanie, fiancé Erika and all of his family and friends.

We hope the outpouring of love and support from our racing family will help ease the pain during this difficult time.

RIP Evan.
