The drivers will be racing hard in the final two-point races to improve their spots in the final standings, as well as using these races as a final tune-up for the upcoming Freedom 76. Eric Kormann was able to score his first ever NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series win last Saturday night to go along with his Thunder on the Hill Series win back in June, becoming the divisions’ tenth different winner this year.

Jeff Strunk continues to lead the T.P. Trailer Modified point standings, however his lead shrank just a bit after he rallied from a 23rd place starting spot to a tenth place feature run on Saturday night, while second place point man Craig Von Dohren had a great night, contending for the feature win and ending the feature in third position to move within 272 points of the top position.

Mike Gular holds down the third spot in the point standings after a real solid feature outing which saw him drive from 16th starting spot to seventh at the finish in the non-stop feature race.

Eddie Strada holds down fourth spot in points and Jared Umbenhauer sits fifth in points, with both drivers remaining in the top five positions despite missing out on a top ten feature finish during last Saturday night’s thrilling 30-lap non-stop T.P. Trailer Modified feature.

The current top ten in points for the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds are 1. Jeff Strunk – 4079, 2. Craig Von Dohren – 3807, 3. Mike Gular – 3593, 4. Eddie Strada – 3367, 5. Jared Umbenhauer – 3316, 6. Duane Howard – 3245, 7. Brett Kressley – 3171, 8. Louden Reimert – 3154, 9. Doug Manmiller – 3098, 10. Tim Buckwalter – 2803.

The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman divisions’ point standings were really shaken after last Saturday night’s wild race program, as long time point leader Logan Watt ended up in a scary heat race crash that knocked him out of action for the rest of the evening.

With Watt on the side lines, Dylan Swinehart survived two mishaps and a trip to the rear of the pack, to rally for a tenth place finish, which moves him into the top spot in the standings just 25 points ahead of Watt with two events remaining.

Mike Schneck Jr. had a great run, ending the night with a third place feature run to maintain third place in the standings, while Addison Meitzler, who was contending for the top spots mid-race, was involved in a wild homestretch wreck, and got knocked out of the feature, but remains fourth in the standings.

Brett Gilmore became the 13th different winner in T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman division action this season, and moved into the fifth spot in the point race with two weeks still to go.

The current top ten in T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman points are 1. Dylan Swinehart – 3374, 2. Logan Watt – 3349, 3. Mike Schneck Jr. – 3258, 4. Addison Meitzler – 3067, 5. Brett Gilmore – 3058, 6. Adrianna Delliponti – 3002, 7. Jesse Hirthler – 2961, 8. Ryan Graver – 2724, 9. Logan Bauman – 2511, 10. Jesse Landis – 2203.

The final night of points will be Spunktown Tavern and Restaurant Championship Night on Saturday, September 14, featuring the T.P. Trailer Modifieds and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman in a double-header starting at 7:30 pm.
