Atlantic City, NJ – The excitement of Indoor Auto Racing returns to Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ, on Friday and Saturday, January 31 and February 1, for the 23rd annual NAPA Auto Parts Atlantic City Race Weekend.
Tickets for this thrilling event go on sale Friday, October 4, at 10 AM and can be purchased via Ticketmaster or at the arena box office.
This year’s race weekend will once again showcase the high-speed TQ Midgets—purpose-built race cars powered by motorcycle engines—competing in main events on both nights on a 1/10th mile oval track set up on the arena floor.
Saturday night will feature the prestigious Gambler’s Classic, where TQ Midget stars will battle for supremacy, while Friday night will see the second running of the exciting BlackJack 21, which enjoyed overwhelming support from fans and racers alike in its inaugural year.
In addition to the TQ Midgets, the weekend will also host three support divisions: 600 Sprints, Slingshots, and Champ Karts, promising an action-packed lineup for motorsport enthusiasts.
Defending champion Andy Jankowiak from Tonawanda, NY, returns as a strong contender.
Family-Friendly Pricing: Tickets start at just $25 for adults, with a special general admission option for children available for only $5. Premium front-row seating and reserved seats are also offered for an additional fee. Pricing does not include facility or ticketing fees.
Fans can look forward to an exclusive pre-race FanFest on the arena floor, allowing those with lower-level reserved seats the chance to walk the track and meet their favorite drivers before Saturday night’s race.
The inaugural BlackJack 21 was won by Ryan Flores from Huntersville, NC, who dazzled the crowd on Friday night. However, Saturday brought a dramatic turn of events when contact with young Tanner VanDoren sent Flores spinning just feet away from a weekend sweep, allowing Jankowiak to capitalize and secure his record-tying fourth Gambler’s Classic trophy.
Before making their way to Atlantic City, the Indoor Auto Racing Series will kick off the 2025 season with two exhilarating nights at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA, on January 3 and 4. The series will conclude its season on a clay oval at the CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, NJ, on February 21 and 22.
