Four-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion Justin Bonsignore opened his 2025 NASCAR season with a third-place finish in the Whelen Modified Tour opener at New Smyrna Speedway last Saturday night. Now, his eyes will turn to the World Center of Racing.

Bonsignore will make his second career NASCAR Xfinity Series start for Joe Gibbs Racing in Saturday’s United Rentals 300 at Daytona International Speedway.

The New York native made his Xfinity Series debut in 2024 with Joe Gibbs Racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway and ran inside the top-five for a long portion of the race. He also competed in the ARCA Menards Series event at Daytona in 2024, his only Superspeedway experience leading into this weekend.

“Running the ARCA race at Daytona certainly helps a bit with the learning curve of a Superspeedway and the drafting,” Bonsignore said. “The Joe Gibbs Racing team and Toyota have proven over the years they have incredibly fast cars. I’m excited to get out there in practice and learn as much as possible in our No. 19 M3 Technology, USNE Power, Toyota GR Supra. I know our goal will be to get to the end of the race with a shot… that’s about all you can ask for at a place like Daytona.”

The schedule for the NASCAR Xfinity Series at Daytona includes practice Friday from 4:35-5:25 p.m., followed by qualifying on Saturday morning at 10:05 a.m. The green flag for the United Rentals 300 is slated for Saturday evening at 5 p.m. and will air live on the CW Network, along with Sirius XM NASCAR Radio, channel 90.
