FONDA, NY – Take two.

After sustained precipitation on Saturday, Fonda Speedway management has announced the postponement of the 12A Opening Day honoring Jumpin’ Jack Johnson until this Wednesday, April 23.

“We were very disappointed that weather made it impossible to honor Jack Johnson and get our 2025 season underway as scheduled,” Fonda Speedway promoter Brett Deyo said. “We didn’t want to wait a week to try again, so Wednesday it is!”

There have been some changes to the program to fit the midweek time frame.

Three divisions will now take part in the 74th Season Opener.

All divisions will draw for heat-race starting positions with a redraw of top qualifiers for the features.
