DOUBLE THE ACTION WITH TWIN 20-LAP NASCAR SPORTSMAN FEATURES PLUS NASCAR MODIFIEDS SATURDAY AT GRANDVIEW SPEEDWAY

BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – It will be a two-division three feature race night this Saturday at Grandview Speedway!

Grandview Speedway will present a NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series program on Saturday, June 21 featuring the T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modifieds and the T.P. Truck Equipment NASCAR Sportsman, with the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman division in the spotlight, as they will be running a Twin 20-lap feature program for the first time in track history!

The June 21 race meet will include qualifying events for both classes leading into the Twin 20-lap features for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman along with a 30-lap T.P. Trailer Modified feature.

Anyone having a rain check or pit wristband from May 17 may use them for the June 21 program, with ticket holders having to pay the added price (adults an extra $3, or students an extra $2, pit prices are the same). The June 21 event will be the last night to use the May 17 rainchecks.

This Saturday night prior to the racing program will be the weekly Low Down and Dirty meet and greet hosted by Brittany Huber. The drivers scheduled to participate include Brett Kressley, Mike Gular & Chase Gular and Gavyn Krupp.

The pre-race Meet and Greet is held in the main gate area starting at 5 pm and is a great time for fans to meet the drivers up close, collect some autographs, take photos, and talk racing with their favorite drivers before the night’s program gets underway.

Saturday night’s program will also see the monthly fan participation Trivia night contest, where questions about Grandview Speedway racing will be asked, and fans will be able to win some cool prizes, tickets for upcoming race events, or gift cards. The trivia night contests have been very popular and a lot of fun!

Pit gates will open at 4 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm, warm-ups starting at 6:15 pm, and the first race of the evening getting the green flag at 7:30 pm.

Adult grandstand admission is $23, students 10-15 with ID are $12, while children ages 9 and under are admitted free of charge. Pit admission is $35 for NASCAR members and $45 for non-members.

The T.P. Trailer Modified and T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman drivers will be ready to get back to action this Saturday after suffering through rain outs the last three weekends.

The T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman division has never run a Twin 20-lap feature race program in Grandview track history. Since the division became a weekly class for the 2012 racing season, 25-lap features have been the standard feature distance.

There have been three special races when the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman have run a different distance, having competed in thirteen 40-lap races (Firecracker or Summer Splash 40’s), eleven Freedom 38-lap season championship events, and one 50-lap race in the track’s 50th anniversary season in 2012.

There will be two chances to reach victory lane on Saturday for the T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, who have seen two first time ever Grandview winners this year in Colin Cox and Lawson Szerencits, while Jesse Landis scored his third career victory.

These three drivers will lead the field into action this week along with top point drivers Adrianna Delliponti, Mike Schneck Jr., Nathan Mohr, Dylan Swinehart, Gavyn Krupp, Mike Stofflet, Teague Miller, Kyle Hartzell, and Kenny Gilmore along with three dozen competitors who will be looking to reach victory lane.

In the T.P. Trailer Modified division only four features have been run so far this year with Brian Hirthler and Chris Esposito both scoring their second career wins, while Brett Kressley scored his overall 32nd career win, and Jeff Strunk picked up his overall 90th career 358 Modified Grandview feature win.

Those four drivers will lead the field into action this week along with other top point drivers like Mike Gular, Craig Von Dohren, Logan Watt, Jared Umbenhauer, Louden Reimert, Duane Howard, Tim Buckwalter, Kyle Smith and Matt Stangle along with three dozen drivers who will be in action on the high banks this Saturday night looking to add their name to the winner’s list.

The Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars will be making up their June 6 rain out with a new date set for Friday, June 27, in a program that starts at 7 pm. Pit gates open at 2 pm, with grandstand gates opening at 5:30 pm. Grandstand admission will be $10, with children ages 12 and under admitted for free. Pit admission is $35 for the Friday event.

The following day Saturday, June 28 will see a triple-division show featuring the T.P. Trailer Modifieds, T.P. Truck Equipment Sportsman, and the Outlaw Racing Series Vintage cars starting at 7:30 pm.
