FONDA, NY – Mohawk Valley, prepare for some midweek Thunder.
On Wednesday, June 18, Fonda Speedway kicks off the 2025 edition of the F.X. Caprara Car Companies Thunder on the Thruway Series with a make-up event. The program was postponed by rain from May 3.
A full program of live and local stock car racing is on the midweek docket:
· Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds – 30 laps, $4,000 to win, $700 for 10th, $300 to take the green
· Swagger Factory Apparel Sportsman – 25 laps, $1,500 to win, $125 to start
· Leatherstocking Credit Union Pro Stocks – 20 laps, $1,000 to win, $80 to start
· Fonda Fair Four Cylinders – 15 laps, $150 to win both Single and Dual Cam
· Crown Vics – First time ever (Glen Ridge Motorsports Park, Devil’s Bowl Speedway, Airborne Park Speedway rules apply)
All Thunder on the Thruway divisions will compete under a draw/redraw format. Four Cylinders and Crown Vics will draw for feature events.
All gates open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 6:15 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $20 (Adults), $18 (Seniors ages 65 and over) and Kids 11 and under are FREE.
Infield Drive-In admission is $95 and includes four passes.
Pit admission is $40 (Non-Members), $35 (Members) or $10 (Kids ages 11 and under).

Fonda Speedway 2025 Season Passes will be honored.
The event will be broadcast live on FloRacing (www.floracing.tv).
Since 1953, the Track of Champions Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing. The speedway operates weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events.
