 — Pro All Stars Series and American-Canadian Tour officials announced this afternoon the return of the September Late Model special following the inaugural showcase last year. The Fall Showdown on Wednesday, September 17 will feature a twin 50-lap bill for both the Outlaw Open Modified Dash for Cash AND the $3,000-to-win, $300-to-start Late Model 50 lap sprint!

The Fall Showdown marks the final midweek Wednesday night event of the 2025 season at Thompson Speedway with the Late Models getting their second annual special on the highbanks, this year with a 50-lap showcase to complement the 50-lap Open Modified Dash for Cash! A local race fan and supporter has added over $6,000 to the weekly purse, making the Late Model Fall Showdown a $3,000-to-win, $300-to-start affair with competition expected to be tight on the Thompson 5/8-mile.

“We’re very grateful and excited to offer this great purse to the Late Model field on September 17,” said ACT managing partner Cris Michaud. “Last year’s 75 lapper saw a lot of riding, I think this year’s 50-lap sprint will keep things interesting for both the local supporters and any invaders coming down to play.”

Thompson Speedway returns for the final mid-week show of the 2025 season on Wednesday, September 17 with the Twin 50 Fall Showdown! The Outlaw Open Modifieds go for the $5,000-to-win Fall Showdown Dash for Cash while the track championship Late Models hunt down a $3,000 grand prize in their own 50 lap sprint. The Thompson Speedway track championship divisions will also be in action for season’s final midweek special on the Thompson highbanks and a 6:00pm Post Time.
