Just five races remain in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour 2025 season.
Four-time series champion Justin Bonsignore is heading to Oswego Speedway this Saturday, August 30, for the 9th annual Mod Classic 150 as part of the prestigious Bud Classic weekend at the New York oval.
Driving the No. 51 for Ken Massa Motorsports, Bonsignore enters the event second in the championship standings, just 10 points from the lead. The New York native looks to use Oswego as a springboard to gain momentum heading for the stretch run of the season.
In nine previous Oswego starts, Bonsignore has been to Victory Lane twice. He’s also finished inside the top-five in all but two of his starts there.
“Oswego is one of the toughest tracks we race on the Whelen Modified Tour,” Bonginore said. “It requires a lot of attention to detail and a car that turns really well to be able to stay right on the inside wall to have speed. Our entire Phoenix Communications team has put ourselves in position to have a strong finish to the season, with what have been some historically good tracks for us coming up.”
Saturday’s schedule for the Mod Classic 150 at Oswego Speedway includes practice from 3-3:30 p.m. and 4-4:30 p.m., followed by qualifying at 5:30 p.m., followed by the green flag for the 150-lap contest at 7:30 p.m.
