MIDDLETOWN (September 24)……..Orange County Fair Speedway (OCFS) and event promoters are proud to
announce the hiring of highly respected track preparation specialist Jamie Friesen to lead surface preparation
for the 64th Annual United Rentals Eastern States Weekend and its headline race the Will Cagle 200
presented by Hauser Bros., Inc. Set for Sunday, October 26, 2025, and honoring one of its all-time great

drivers, the Eastern States Will Cagle 200 is the oldest consecutively-run championship race for Northeastern-
type dirt track Modifieds.

The crown jewel of Northeast dirt track Modified racing, Eastern States Weekend is a four-day challenge that
requires meticulous planning, equipment, and round-the-clock attention. Running from October 23-26, 2025, the
event culminates with the legendary 200-lap feature, the Eastern States Will Cagle 200. With racing scheduled
during daylight hours each day, track conditions become even more demanding—making Friesen’s expertise
invaluable.
A fixture in Northeast dirt track racing, Friesen brings decades of hands-o experience preparing tracks such as
Utica-Rome, Ransomville, Georgetown, and Fonda Speedways. His reputation for delivering consistent and
competitive racing surfaces has earned the respect of racers and fans across the region.

OCFS will also benefit from the support of its partners at United Rentals, who will provide additional equip-
ment necessary for the demanding week of prep and maintenance leading into and throughout the event.

Promoter Brett Hearn said: “The conditions we as racers are given are the most important part of the program.
It affects every aspect of an event. The goal is always to do the best we can. The race teams and fans deserve
that. I believe with Jamie’s undivided attention, the additional equipment needed to do the job, and feature races
scheduled around dusk, we can make this year’s Eastern States Weekend a fun and memorable one.”
The 64th Annual Eastern States Will Cagle 200 culminates United Rentals Eastern States Weekend, Thursday
October 23 through Sunday, October 26, with exciting racing in all the divisions that compete at Orange County
plus the annual Appearance of the Short Track Super Series (STSS) Modifieds in their Hard Clay Finale. For
