NEW EGYPT, NJ – Youth Movement.

Three drivers youthful in age claimed the Modified Qualifiers on Friday night to open the 2025 All-Star Cup at New Egypt Speedway.

Logan Watt, Paul Mancini, and Justin Grosso stamped the youth movement in New Jersey racing, each picking up $500 for their efforts in their 15-lap Qualifiers.

In Ellery Pub & Grill, Short Load Concrete Qualifier No. 1, Boyertown, Pa.’s Logan Watt fired from the outside of the front row alongside Oley, Pa.’s Louden Reimert.

Lineups for the Qualifiers were set by time trials, and an invert of four following time trials. Dominick Buffalino, the quick timer overall, spun the New Egypt Speedway “Invert Wheel” to determine the invert for the Qualifiers.

Watt pounced on the opportunity, racing around Reimert at the drop of the green flag and snatching the early lead.

Ryan Godown moved into second and had a shot at Watt on a late restart, but the young gun was up to the challenge, sticking to the outside groove and keeping Godown at bay.

“That last restart really showed what we had,” Watt said of Godown’s late challenge. “I’m glad it happened, we learned a little something and the car’s really good.”

Godown held on for second with Billy Pauch Jr. and Louden Reimert moving to tonight’s redraw with D.J Hunt and Joseph Brown grabbing the last two qualifying spots.

New Egypt Auto Body Qualifier No. 2, like the first, saw the outside pole sitter race to the early lead and lead all 15 laps.

New Gretna, N.J.’s Paul Mancini raced around Clay Butler in turns one and two to grab the early lead.

Butler meanwhile got tangled up with Davey Sammons exiting turn two, allowing Danny Bouc to slip by both cars to grab the runner-up position.

The chase was on from there for Bouc, but Mancini was up to the task, never letting Bouc get close enough to offer a serious challenge.

Mancini led all 15 laps on his way to a $500 victory.

“We’ve been really good recently,” Mancini explained. “It’s been a while since I’ve been in Victory Lane here hopefully, we can come back tomorrow.”

Bouc, Sammons, and Butler grabbed the remaining redraw spots while Anthony Tramontana and Ryan Krachun qualified for the main event.

The final Qualifier, presented by Dashlight Solutions, was won by Montgomery, N.J.’s Justin Grosso, who started on the pole.

Grosso raced to the early and maneuvered an early restart to claim the $500 win over Cale Ross, Brandon Grosso, and Jack Butler.

“The track was faster tonight than it’s been,” Grosso explained. “We made some changes and it’s good now, we’ll see what tomorrow brings.”

Dominick Buffalino and Dillon Steuer grabbed the final two qualifying spots.

The Oliver Communications Group One-on-One Match Races also took place on Friday night, with Ryan Godown claiming the $500 win.

Cale Ross went on the early run after being called out first by Clay Butler.

Ross went on to beat Butler, Davey Sammons, Logan Watt, Dominick Buffalino, and Brandon Grosso before calling out Ryan Godown and seeing his run end.

Godown rolled on from there, beat Paul Mancini, Louden Reimert, Billy Pauch Jr., and Danny Bouc.

Ross walked away with $250 while Godown walked out with $750 all courtesy of Oliver Communications Group.

“We’ve been going good here for a little while,” Godown explained. “Our cars are really dialed in and they’re a lot of fun to drive.”

Southampton, N.J.’s David Miloszar raced from the sixth starting position to pick up the win in the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman Non-Winners race.

Miloszar raced from the sixth starting position and passed Mike Toth with just four laps remaining to take the lead.

Miloszar held on for the remaining laps to pick up his first win of 2025.

Toth, Glenn McIntyre, Mark Mohr, and Will Protinick completed the top five.

Tuckerton, N.J.’s Pat Force, grabbed his third win of the season, outmuscling Chris Lane to pick up the victory.

Lane, Shane Grosso, and Scott Freed completed the rundown.

The Four Cylinder main event went to Southampton, N.J.’s Bobby Drayton III. Drayton started from third and quickly raced to the top spot.

Drayton led all 15 laps on his way to another Four Cylinder win in 2025.

Kyle Hurley, Joe Garey, Dale Mull, and Robert Drayton IV completed the top five.

Racing resumes tonight with a Modified B-Main and the 50-lap, $6,000+ to win All-Star Cup. The Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman run a full program for $1,500-to-win and the Four Cylinders have another full program for $500-to-win.
